The results of the 2026 Hong Kong Dental Licensing Examination (HKDLE), Second Sitting, Part 1 have been released, bringing news worth celebrating at Zency Education:

All Eight Subjects Passed on a First Attempt
One Zency Education student sat HKDLE Part 1 for the first time and successfully passed all eight subjects in a single sitting.
HKDLE Part 1 is a written examination covering eight subjects across a broad range of dental disciplines. Preparing for this breadth of content requires candidates to understand the key concepts in each subject and build connections across different areas of knowledge.
Success After Returning for Another Attempt
Alongside our first-time candidate, five students who were resitting the examination also successfully passed Part 1.
Some needed a structured review across all subjects. Others enrolled in our individual-subject courses to focus on the subjects they still needed to pass. Different starting points call for different revision priorities. Identifying gaps in understanding, practising with a clear focus and reviewing mistakes are important steps in the preparation process.
A Subject Pass Rate of 74.1%
As of 5 November 2026, our students achieved a 74.1% subject pass rate in this sitting, calculated by dividing the total number of subject passes by the total number of subject attempts.

Dedicated HKDLE Preparation for Candidates from Different Backgrounds

English-language courses are led by Dr. Suki. A Hong Kong-registered dentist who has passed the HKDLE and has experience with international examinations, Dr. Suki focuses on professional communication in English, international examination question styles and practical standards. Her courses help students understand and apply their professional knowledge in an English-language learning environment.
