On April 19th, we prepared a special trial class.
There are three reasons why it is special.
Firstly, the teacher is a foreign dentist who provides English explanations throughout the entire process.
This teacher completed NDEB Training (specifically Part 1, the AFK exam) in Canada and came to Hong Kong this year. She has passed the NDEB Step 1 exam (AFK exam) and the Hong Kong Dental Licensing Examination(HKDLE).
Secondly, she understands more than just HKDLE.
She also has in-depth research on the Australian ADC dental exam and the UK ORE exam. In this trial class, she will string together her experience of taking exams from multiple countries – which exam points are universal, which ideas can be reused, and what are the similarities and differences in the exam systems of different countries.
Thirdly, the content discussed is globally applicable.
The theme of this trial lesson is Medical Emergency in Dental Office.
This is a test point that appears in major dental exams such as HKDLE, NDEB, ADC, ORE, and is also a core competency that every practicing dentist must master. A topic that repeatedly appears in global exams and is crucial in clinical practice is worth spending an evening listening to carefully.

Why arrange such a trial class?

Last week in the trial class group, we saw everyone talking about dental exams in different countries. Some asked how to take the exam in Germany, while others wanted to know about the system in the UK.
We have realized one thing: many colleagues preparing for the Hong Kong Dental License are also paying attention to broader possibilities. Some people want an additional option, some want to understand the similarities and differences of different paths, and some simply want to hear what “experienced people” have to say.
So we invited this teacher.
The path she has walked may be the one many people are considering. The exams she has taken and prepared for may be the ones that many people are struggling with. She is willing to explain her experience, lessons learned, and the underlying logic of the past few years in one night.

Who is this class suitable for?

• Candidates who are preparing for the Hong Kong Dental Licensing Examination HKDLE and want to familiarize themselves with the all-English teaching environment in advance;
• Colleagues who are interested in overseas dental exams such as NDEB in Canada, ADC in Australia, and ORE in the UK and want to understand the differences in their systems;
• Learners who hope to establish a “globally applicable” clinical mindset, not just focusing on one single exam;
• Learners with a solid English foundation who want to test their ability to keep up with all-English professional courses.
